Privacy Notice

This privacy notice explains how React Consulting Ltd, trading as Simply Systems (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit simplysystems.com or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

We do not collect special category data and we do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and respond to enquiries. They only process data on our instructions.

• Form handling and email delivery: Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Email: Microsoft 365, which hosts our mailboxes and stores our correspondence with you.
• Website hosting and visit counting: Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps standard server logs and provides cookieless visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
• Analytics and advertising measurement: Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement, only if you accept cookies in the prompt. We do not use this for personalised advertising. Google may process this data in the United States under its standard contractual safeguards.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, UK adequacy regulations or the provider’s equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: 12 months from our last contact, then deleted.
• Client correspondence and records: for the length of our engagement and 6 years afterwards, to meet legal and accounting obligations.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically. Cloudflare Web Analytics keeps only aggregate statistics.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct data that is inaccurate;
• delete your data;
• stop or restrict how we use it;
• give you your data in a portable format;
• stop using your data for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these, email hello@simplysystems.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
