Who we work with

Built for businesses that have outgrown their tools.

Bespoke software pays off when your processes are distinctive and the tools you rely on no longer keep up. We work with businesses of all sizes, and the ones we help most look like this.

Sectors

We work across industries, and most often with:

  • Healthcare and care providers
  • Professional services firms
  • Manufacturing, logistics and distribution
  • Property and facilities management
  • Membership and not-for-profit organisations

Company sizes

From owner-managed businesses to established organisations:

  • Growing businesses with 10 to 250 people
  • Teams inside larger organisations that need their own system
  • Founders launching a product or platform

Typical situations

You will recognise yourself in at least one of these:

  • You have outgrown spreadsheets and email
  • Off-the-shelf software almost fits, but not quite
  • Your systems do not talk to each other, so data is typed in twice
  • A legacy system is holding the business back
  • Manual processes are slowing down growth
  • You need a customer or partner portal

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is bespoke software, and when is it the right choice?

Bespoke software is built specifically around how your business works, rather than adapted from an off-the-shelf product. It is the right choice when your processes are distinctive, when you have outgrown spreadsheets and generic tools, or when the systems you rely on no longer talk to each other. If an existing product fits well, we will tell you.

How much does a bespoke system cost?

It depends on the scope, the number of people and processes involved, and what the system needs to integrate with. Rather than guess, we run a short discovery phase first and then give you a clear, itemised quote with transparent timelines before any build work starts. There are no surprises part way through.

How long does a project take?

A focused web application can be live in a matter of weeks. A business platform that replaces several existing tools typically takes a few months, delivered in stages so you are using working software early rather than waiting for a big launch. We agree the timeline with you during discovery and report progress against it throughout.

What technology do you build with?

We build on proven, widely supported platforms including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and DigitalOcean, and we use OpenAI where AI genuinely helps a process. We choose the stack to suit the problem and your existing environment, and we avoid anything that would tie you to a single supplier.

Can you integrate with the systems we already use?

Yes. Most of the systems we build connect to existing tools such as accounting software, CRMs, payment providers and industry-specific platforms. We design integrations so data flows automatically and there is one reliable source of truth, rather than the same information being typed in twice.

Who owns the software once it is built?

You do. The system is built for your business and the code, data and accounts belong to you. We are happy to hand over everything needed for another team to maintain it, although most clients choose to keep us on for ongoing support.

What happens after launch?

Launch is the start of the useful life of the system, not the end of the project. We provide ongoing support, monitoring and improvements, with direct access to the engineers who built your system. As your business changes, the software changes with it.
